Folks, I"m selling my 2000 Ford Excursion, it breaks my heart but I"m just to old to head out like I use to with my 19 foot Airstream. If you"re looking for a work-horse SUV that can carry 9 passengers AND tow an RV or horse trailer - you"re gonna have to buy yourself this Ford Excursion. There is nothing else on the road that can do what this beast of a truck can do. Equipped with the right engine and final drive ratio, this puppy can yank 11,000 pounds worth of trailer, while coddling your 8 passenger friends. The last Excursion was built in 2005, and low mileage ones are rare. This one is equipped with a recent Ford dealer installed 6.8L V10 - I have owned this Excursion since it was about 2 years old, it has been well cared for and has lots of life left in it and is ready for the road with a recent repaint and Ford Dealer installed crate engine. Everything works as it should.
