Vehicle description
LIMITED EDITION 7-UP CONVERTIBLE, 103K ACTUAL MILES, 5.0L V8, RARE 5-SPD!
This example is even more rare because it left the factory with a 5-speed manual transmission. Of the 4103 7-UP Editions, only 1,360 had a stick. Look over this car closely and you"ll see its a borderline time capsule! This car runs great and looks good. I am the 3rd owner. it has been garage kept. car has only been used on sunny days. located in Boca raton, Florida this car is for sale locally, reserve right to cancel listing at any time. More photos upon request what needs work: paint is a B+, rear bumper cover is warped, a few door dings and scratches, rear windows need manual assistance, power door locks, electric mirrors, gas gauge fully original except for pony 5 star wheels. If you have never heard of a 7-UP Edition Ford Mustang, well let me introduce you to one of the rarest Fox Body Mustangs in existence. Originally only 30 7-UP Mustangs were meant to be produced carrying the obvious soft drink manufacturer"s name. They were meant to be a promotion between the two companies at the 1990 NCAA Men"s Basketball finals. Basically, nail a half-court shot and get a free car. For unknown reasons, the promotion was cancelled at the last minute and at the time only two had been produced. Ford decided to go on with the promotion and bump production to 4,103 of the 7-UP editions. They called it the Limited Edition 7-UP Convertible and they were only produced in 1990. This 1990 Mustang is one of these rare limited editions. The 7-UP Mustangs were LX convertibles equipped with the famous Fox Body era 5.0L V8 engines that cranked out 255 horsepower. All the cars were painted Ford"s Deep Emerald Green clear coat metallic paint and featured Oxford white leather interior and a white convertible top, making them instantly recognizable. The Front Fascia, outside mirrors and body side moldings were painted to match the green exterior. The car retailed at $19,878.
