Vehicle description
I bought this Viper a few years ago and basically rebuilt the entire car top to bottom. Things in life are changing and I’m considering letting it go for the next car. I run an autobody/performance shop and specialize in Vipers. Mod/maintenance list below:
1997 Dodge Viper GTS ~45,000 miles w/factory forged engine
-Custom candy purple paint (will provide formula for repairs)
-Entire car covered in suntek self healing clear protection film, then covered in two layers of Feynlab ceramic coating
-19x11, 19x13 Forgestar cf5v matte bronze wheels with Michelin Pilot super sports. Wheels are ceramic coated (2k miles)
-White oem Brembo calipers with ceramic pads
-JRZ Motorsport series double adjustable coilovers with reservoirs (recently rebuilt by Olsen Motorsport)
-Billet/poly rear lower shock mounts
-Energy suspension poly control arm bushings all around
-Energy suspension poly sway bar bushings
-New sway bar endlinks all around
-New front outer tie rods, new rear inner and outer tie rods
-Billet steering rack bushings
-New oem motor mounts
-Energy suspension poly trans mount
-Mopar Performance 3.73 gear set
-Ipsco short shifter
-Raceseng shift knob
-Full LCD rear view mirror w/ front camera
-5-1 long tube headers
-3” exhaust with black widow no drone mufflers in side sills and single muffler at rear with black tips. Side sills wrapped in dei heat shielding
-Smooth tube intakes with K&N filter
-Custom catch can
-Powder coated black intake manifold and valve covers
-Quality wires purple plug wires
-New oem map/tps sensors
-Billet power steering bracket and pulley with vent tube. Replaced pump with new oem
-Replaced water pump and t stat. New oem
-Silicone radiator hoses
-3 row aluminum radiator
-00+ cooling fan conversion
-Upgraded oil cooler lines
-Tuned on HPTuners 475whp/520wtq
-Innovate wideband custom molded into center dash trim
-2” seat lowering kit on drivers seat
The bad: this car was in an accident in 2001 which cracked the hood and the car was deemed totaled. I have pictures of the damage from 2001 I can send potential buyers, as well as interior, underside, engine bay and walk around videos. Only damage from the accident was front bumper and hood, no suspension or frame. The NY title when I got it was clean, and the MD title I hold is clean but it shows on carfax. Nothing to hide.
