Dodge Power Wagon. Town Pannel, Originally purchased by the Federal Government and delivered in 1966 to Nevada. So no rust ever. I removed the scratches and dents, and painted it with original military paint. Always a favorite at Air shows, truck and military shows. Body was removed frame dipped and repainted. New springs,steering box and components. Complete brake system rebuild, installed Dana 60 differentials front and rear, NOS radiator and heater core, Rough rider springs and shocks. The body was blasted and primed with red-rust-stop Kerker paint . Interior was insulated and wood slats added. Power disconnect switch and marker/ driving lights added. Fuel tank cleaned all new fuel lines. All new “U” joints. The engine is 1987 Dodge 318 not modified. New windshield, all original rear and side glass, rebuilt door latches. The front and rear (limited slip)DANA axles are from a 1985 Dodge 1.25 ton heavy pickup allowing large disk brakes in the front and full floating axles in the rear. This truck is heavy duty and rides rough steers hard and sits high. Drives great once you become accustomed to a high center of gravity vehicle. Even with the 4:10 ratio gears you can cruise 70 on the interstate. I built this truck to be reliable and fun, it’s always popular so be ready to answer lots of questions and hear stories. The truck is 4wheel drive with high and low transfer case. New tires and wheels custome exhaust and shorty headers, glass pack mufflers. Mopar electronic ignition. Seats have “US” logo see pic. The truck is missing the original military data plate ( lost by the previous owner). The oil pressure gauge is disconnected for safety purposes. (Don’t worry it has a gauge on the engine) 4speed manual truck transmission, power brakes. The Vin is stamped on the right front frame rail and visible. One of the last of its kind, this truck is very rare. I’m selling it because I have to many vintage vehicles.* 3500 miles since vehicle construction. That’s all. This truck was used to collect donated funds for the Wounded Warrior Foundation and the Collings Foundation.
