Im a rover fanatic and love to work on these. My passion is to find these and work on them to get the back to their glory and beyond! This truck was really fun to work on and has become my favorite one I"ve owned over the years I"ve been doing this. I love the deep red color with the black. Super cool and I get tons of compliments!
This truck is by no means perfect and I will spell out any known flaws below.
Here is what I have done: - New Head Gaskets done Jan 2022 - Heads re-surfaced by local professional engine shop - New Radiator - New Coolant hoses - New Water pump - 180 degree thermostat (keeping the temps lower on these trucks is critical) - New pulleys and serpentine belt - New HD fan clutch - New HD cooling fan - Flush of cooling system - New Steel front and rear bumpers - New 9500 lbs Smittybilt winch with synthetic rope - TerraFirma front shackles - TuffRok front lights (with corona eyes, see pics) - Headlight guards - New platinum plugs - New 8mm plug wires - New Bosch coil packs - New Alpine Radio with Apple/Android and rear back up camera - Headline torn out and bedliner"d - New 16 inch TerraFirma steel wheels (5x) - New BFG Mud Terrain Tires (5x) - New TerraFirma Wheel spacers - New spare tire spacer/lifter - New Terrafirma HD shocks and Springs - New Brakes and rotors - Brakes Bled with new Dot4 fluid - Fresh Oil - New subwoofer speakers - New Floor mats - Fresh paint on roof (clear coat had worn away) - New 1/4 chassis frame replacement - you will not have to worry about under carrige rust there! - New Fuel pump - New drivers door window motor - New rear tail light guards - New wiper blades - New 3M Black out hood decal - New PA state and emissions inspection (good till 11-2022) Interior is in very good condition. Not perfect but nothing major is broken and the seats show little wear.
NON SMOKING vehicle.
Runs, starts and drives very well. Never overheated to my knowledge. Super fun truck to drive and very capable off road. No check engine lights. 3 Amigos repaired (Option B) so that wont be an issue.

Good to know: - This truck shows "total loss" on the carfax back in April of 2012. I have no history on this incident and actually believe it to be a mistake because the PA title does not show it as a Salvage nor an "R-Title". There are a ton of service records for the truck in and around this time frame so I"m led to believe it could be an error. The title is in hand and is a clean PA title.
- Some smaller knicks and scratches. - Roof gutter plastic chipped here and there - Interior shows a small amount of wear - Interior lights work but there must be a switch failure somewhere in the line where they do not turn on with door opening. - Parking brake cable recently seized. Will attempt to replace or repair if I can but Im not able to promise I can get to this (though I ordered the cable and expect to have it done this week). Still drives fine. - Occasionally the idle is high due to a sticky throttle body. Will attempt to clean this but a quick "goose" of the gas pedal usually resolves this and it doesn"t happen often, Just good to know. - Two keys. Only one (1) activates the alarm and locks. - Heat inside the truck is only "OK". I suspect the heater core is possibly starting to clog.
