Vehicle description

2014 Cadillac CTS V Wagon 38,500 Miles Phantom Grey Metallic/ Ebony Recaro Interior 6.2 L 556 HP/ Turbo Charged 2 Owners—California/Texas Extremely Rare- 378 Produced Factory Stock/ Automatic Transmission All Maintenance Professionally Done W/Receipts Salvage Texas Title/ Clear in Owner’s Name Brand new Michelin Pilot Sport AS 3+ This car was ordered new at Martin Automotive Group in Los Angles by the 80 year old first owner. He enjoyed the car, but made the mistake of turning off the traction control- - his acceleration from the stop sign boosted him through the intersection out of control and he damaged the front end. (I was able to speak directly with him recently to get the story). No airbags were activated, but the Damage Disclosure Statement indicates that the Front Bumper, Hood, Left Fender, and Radiator Support have been replaced. The car was purchased by Robbins Repairables of North Carolina from the insurance company. They repaired the damage and I purchased the car from them in February of 2017 with an odometer reading of 23,304 miles. I have a clear Texas Title in my name and the Title states NOT ACTUAL MILEAGE REBUILT SALVAGE- ISSUED BY CA. The car currently shows just over 38,000 miles, but it pretty much looks like new. A quick note on the mileage- - looking at the Experian report details, there is a normal progression of increasing miles, and no indication of rollback. I think a junior clerk got carried away checking boxes for the CA salvage Title. The Factory Window sticker shows the MSRP of $70,525.00. During my ownership (I am over 70 years of age) I have had all repairs done at a local high performance shop. In January of 2018 at 32619 miles I had new front/rear brake pads/rotors installed, flushed the brake fluid, and replaced the front shocks and mounts. I also replaced the right and left (on 11/2018) lower control arms with bushings and ball joints. Total receipts from Fifth Gear Automotive for this work was $6,934.58. The new Michelin tires installed 4/16/2021 were $1,200. The replacement for the lower control arms and front shock towers may have had some relation to the accident, but talking with the repair shop, it sounds like this is a common failing. The turbo has been no problem, makes no noises and from what I read, by 2014 GM had fixed the problems they had previously encountered. As can be seen in the pictures the car is in excellent condition. There is one small skuff on a wheel from the new tire installation, and the side V Badges are not installed, but come with the car. The front foot wells have Weather Tech floor covers. This is the car to buy and enjoy- - selling at a discount to market because of the Salvage Title. A similar 2013 V wagon with 44,000 miles recently sold on BAT for $54,600 (including the 5% buyers fee). The sale price of this car without the salvage title would be $55-60,000. With all of this said—I welcome and encourage inspections of this car- - I want a happy new owner. I am selling this Caddy because I have 8 collector cars and need to downsize. My C7 Grandsport/Z07 is going to take the place of this one in the driving rotation. This is a relist ad- there is a ton of interest in the car, and I received many offers for it in the first ad, several just short of my buy it now price. It is a beautiful ride and anyone is welcome to have it inspected. I have maintained it in very good condition using the best professionals. I don"t need the money, I just have too many cars. Buy with confidence as I have been on EBay over 20 years with 100% positive feedback. I have sold several cars over the years with excellent results. This car is listed elsewhere, and subject to sale outside of EBay. The car is located about 10 miles from Texas Motor speedway and 20 miles north of DFW airport. Fly in/drive home. E-mail questions.
