I had a mechanic tell me recently that the LS 430 is probably the finest car ever made in the history of cars. And I believe it. This car is amazing. It just runs and runs. The engine purrs and is super quiet. I’ve owned this great car for seven years. I’m the fourth owner. Meticulously maintained its entire life. Oil change religiously with high grade synthetic. Every mechanical detail maintained and replaced as needed. This car will be good for another 250K miles. Here’s everything that’s been serviced, rebuilt, or replace in the time I’ve owned it to make this a top performing vehicle: Transmission fluid flush and replace, AC serviced – blows cold, Replace front and rear brake pads and rotors, New Battery, Premium Goodyear Assurance ComforTred Touring tires, Timing belt tensioner pully change, Water pump replaced, Coolant flush, Thermostat replaced, Brake system fluid flush and replace, Power steering fluid flush and replace, New struts, shocks and sway bar links, New hood and trunk struts, Speaker foams replaced, Synthetic Oil changed religiously every 5000 miles. Oil change, oil change, oil change……Inspections all current. This is a terrific car. Don’t be afraid of the mileage, as they are highway miles, and the systems that are prone to fail have been service continuously and replace or rebuilt as necessary. Lexus is Toyota’s luxury car. It’s Toyota’s quality and longevity built to an even higher standard! Everything about this car was made to last and last. The leather, carpets, fit and finish are super high quality. The interior cabin is extremely quiet. The mechanical systems reflect superb engineering and craftsmanship. Everything is solid and overbuilt. To a point – have you ever seen a Lexus broken down by the side of the highway? Certainly Lexus is the finest car for the money. So buying one used is an even better value! I love cars, and this Lexus has been one of my favorites. In fact I’ve replaced it with a newer version. I’ve included a bunch of photos to help you see what I mean. The last photo shows a hood dig resulting from an impact from a small branch knocked out in a wind storm. There is a road grit scratch in the windshield from the passenger side wiper. It doesn’t show in the photos and can be buffed out. Loved cars still show wear.
