This car runs, drives, and looks spectacular. Below are some of the details of note regarding this vehicle. Should you have specific questions, please let me know.
*Excellent, Good, Fair, Poor
Exterior :
PAINT - Good Condition Original vehicle color Mostly original paint, front driver-side panel and hood may have been repainted (I have not tested this with a paint gauge, however, the paint on these areas are exceptional regarding their finishes Car shows some paint chips that have been touched up over the years (not so many that you would need to tally them up with a calculator)
BRIGHT WORK - Good Condition No oxidization on any of the exterior chrome (exception - the tail pipe tips are oxidized) All exterior trim has maintained its mirror finish
WHEELS - Excellent Condition No dents or dings in these factory OE wheels These OE wheels are in great condition
Interior :
SEATS - Fair Condition Original Seats I would rate these seats in “Good Condition” over “Fair Condition”, however, the Driver seat has some stitching that needs attending to, as can be seen in the photos
TRIM - Good Condition No missing or cracked trim Armrests could be refreshed but are in good condition for OE material
Carpet - Fair Condition A piece of the driver side carpet has been replaced near where the non-dominant leg rest while driving Overall carpet has decent color, no holes/rips but could use refreshing to an Excellent Condition
HEADLINER - Fair Condition Should the headliner have been in its upright position this item could be considered Good Condition The Headliner Rods have either become disconnected from their securing locations or have simply spun from their roof facing position to a downward position, this can be seen in the photos of the car. This sag in the headliner does not hang low enough to touch the drivers head, however, it is still there and to be noted
Engine/Underbody :
ENGINE - Good Condition Water Pump Bearing squeal. With an unexpected blip of the throttle the bearing may or may not talk to you Currently a PCV valve connected in place of the 1960’s “Draft Tube” No ticks/knocks Runs Smooth and has expected power for this 390 FE engine Everything functions as it should mechanically Fluid levels maintained throughout
TRANSMISSION - Good Condition Neutral Safety Solenoid is weak. Shifts and drives through each gear smoothly L, D1, D2 gear selectors are all functioning properly No Fluid loss or discoloration to fluid
UNDERBODY - Good Condition No Rust No metal work done Drive terrain and components all function smoothly Photos available here to depict current condition
