Vehicle description
1965 Pontiac GTO. Color: Red. 400 Motor (Original was 421.) Transmission - Two-speed power glide. Original Frame. Never broke. (The driver side had a touch of rust, so there is bondo in the door under the paint. Just FYI.) Seats are original, but they have been re-upholstered. Heater works. Wipers work. Car is drivable and has a new battery - it is taken to gas station weekly and started every few days. I don"t know if it would be up to long distance trips immediately, though, since we don"t take it anywhere, and haven"t for years.
This vehicle was owned by my uncle and taken to car shows. It has been years since he has passed and I"m placing this ad with permission of my aunt, who is not internet savvy. She had one of those "In memory of" stickers placed on the back window that is popular in this area for whatever reason (photo shown), so you"ll have to have it scraped off. Issues: Needs new starter. Needs new tires. Power windows do not work. Radio does not work. Speedometer does not work. The mileage given to me was 21150, however, since the speedometer doesn"t work, I do not think that is accurate.

It was and is a beautiful vehicle, I"ve ridden in it several times, and my uncle took good care of it when he was alive - but it has mostly been sitting in the garage gathering dust lately, which shouldn"t happen to beautiful things. It would be nice if it was sold to someone that will love the car as much as my uncle did.
