Vehicle description
2013 Chrysler Town & Country. Our Town & Country was purchased in 2016 in Indiana and only came to Vermont in May 2021. Undercoated prior to this winter. This means: no Vermont rust! Our steep and snowy driveway necessitates AWD, so this well-cared-for van is ready for its new owner.
The highlights: - Winter tires included on steel wheels included (these are currently mounted to the vehicle). The Michelin X-Ice tires have a couple good seasons left in them. - All-season tires on original alloys are high-quality Michelin Defenders with about 35,000 miles on them and lots of tread remaining. - Automatic doors and trunk, back seat entertainment system, 8-way adjustable driver’s seat, nice ambient lighting in the rear. Everything works as it should. - Tan leather seats are in great shape; no tears or unusual wear. - Legendary Stow n’ Go system allows the 2 nd and 3 rd row seats to fold into the floor quickly and easily, creating a flat space large enough to haul 4x8 sheets. - Accident free. No engine lights. No maintenance due. No little annoying broken buttons or levers. Hot heat, cold A/C. Everything works! - 2-inch hitch with wiring for trailer lights. Mostly useful for bike racks, etc., but light-duty towing can be done – the Town & Country has a 3,000lb. tow rating. (We have a truck and have used that for towing.) - Inspected in late 2021. Other good things: - Weather-Tech mats front and rear. - Both keys included and functional - Non-smoking vehicle - Backup camera - Fog lights - LED tail lights - Stowable roof rack – crossbars can stow in the roof rails The low-lights: - Dented tailgate, as seen in the pictures. We had the paint in the area touched up years ago when the dent happened, which has prevented any rust forming. The dent is a cosmetic but not functional issue; everything around it remains in perfect working order, including lights, weather seals, etc. - Scrape along the driver’s side sliding door. Again, only cosmetic, no rust or other issues associated with this. - The TPMS sensors on the winter wheels/tires needs a reset or a battery, so the tire light is on. I haven’t bothered to address this since it doesn’t really affect anything, but if the dashboard light bugs you, you may wish to have this fixed. The TPMS on the all-season tires works as normal. Overall, this is a great van that has been a reliable companion and an amazing people- and stuff-hauler for our 6 years of ownership. Now it’s time for the next chapter. Kids to move? Camper van conversion? Light construction? This van can do it all in style and comfort, and has many years of loyal service remaining.
