This van was bought new by a North Carolina police department and used sparingly as their “Critical Incident Support Unit”. The extraordinarily low miles of 20,057 are original. I have maintenance records from the police department for the past 20 years. The 4300 (4.3) Vortec V6 runs excellent and the transmission shifts smoothly. I just had a new catalytic converter professionally installed. A dash mounted solar charging panel and grille mounted battery cut-off switch were added by the police department. The operational status of the solar charger is unknown. The factory AM/FM radio is operable. The "air bag" light is illuminated. The air conditioning blows but is NOT cold. The steel cabinets mounted in the cargo area behind the steel divider and matching steel center console are very well built and function properly. No key is available for these. A trailer hitch and dual trailer connectors were added by the police department. The roof rack looks great and has ample space for equipment, as well as a spare tire box, as pictured. I had the van repainted it’s original black due to fading on the hood and roof, in addition to the adhesive on the sides of the van remaining after the police department removed their vinyl decals. Some areas of the police decals can still be seen in the correct light. It’s not the best paint job and I am not representing it as such. The driver’s seat has a tear along the edge of the top, as pictured. The left hand vent door wing window seal could use replacing, as there is a whistle from the wind while driving.
