I know I"m probably forgetting some things. As you can see there is almost 30K in aftermarket and over 25K has recently been spent on new parts when the last motor went, pretty much everything but the transmission. (and on that note, this allison transmission has never thrown a code or slipped, it is bulletproof). All work was done by Diesel DayDreams here in Denver. I even had them do a compression test on the new motor and it tested excellent. I love this truck and it"s hard for me to part with, but when the motor went down and it was taking so long to get it back I had to buy another truck.
The bad:
Windshield has a large crack. I was going to replace it but it has very dark tint which in my opinion adds to the look of the truck so I left it on for now. Truck does not have HUD so replacement should be under $200.
4WD works perfectly, but you need to slow way down when shifting into 4WD. In 2017 I drove it in Iowa where it was -25 out and when I engaged 4WD it damaged the syncro. If you don"t slow down it will still engage, but makes what sounds like a hydraulic noise. It never bothered me to slow down when engaging so I never had it fixed. And I use 4x4 often in winter.
The train horn currently is not hooked up, although compressor still is. I used the pull rope in my new truck.
This truck has HUGE pulling power. I pull a steel 25 foot enclosed 4 place snowmobile trailer fully loaded over Loveland Pass at just under 12,000 feet here in Colorado and it will still accelerate in 6th gear without downshifting.
Truck is for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction early. I would prefer local pickup only, but if buyer chooses to ship it is his/her responsibility.
