Vehicle Details For auction 1989 Chevrolet Camaro IROC-Z convertible. I purchased this car after it had been stored for several years, hence the low mileage. The car has been completely restored. Title shows mileage exempt. This is a state rule on cars more than 10 yrs old, but the mileage shows 61,980 which based on the car's original condition, I believe is correct. VIN# 1G1FP31F2KL136229. I have a clean Alabama title in my name. This car has been customized for two (2) persons to travel with the top down and still have room for luggage. The car is only a 2-seater but could be returned easily to a 4-seater if the owner wishes. The troublesome GM VATS system has been removed and a VATS bypass has been installed with a hidden switch to allow vehicle security. The engine and transmission have been rebuilt, brakes front and rear have been completely rebuilt, rear shocks are heavy-duty adjustable air. The gas tank was removed and cleaned. An opening above the tank was installed to allow for easy future fuel pump installation. New fuel pump, sending unit, filter, fuel injectors, pressure regulator, spark plugs, ignition wires, distributor and battery are installed. The front suspension has been completely rebuilt with all new parts. The interior is all restored and customized with new carpet and trim. The A/C and cooling system have a new condenser, dryer, radiator, and hoses. The A/C system needs to be charged. A brand new convertible top and new seals have been installed. Also, new seals around the doors. Two (2) brand new power window motors have been installed. A new windshield has been installed and a new AM/FM/CD radio. Three (3) tires have 85% tread. The front driver side was replaced with a brand new tire due to a sidewall cut on the original. The car was originally red and has been repainted black with all new decals. The paint is very good with no scratches or dents. This is a totally rust-free car. This is a great car for someone looking for something different. The IROC-Z convertible was only produced for a few years and they are definitely becoming a collector car. The car is sold AS-IS with no guarantees or warranty.
