It drives and operates just as it did when new. The engine and transmission perform flawlessly. Shifting through the gears in an all aluminum, lightweight GT with a high revving Ferrari V8 up front makes for one of the best driving experiences in the modern era. Make no mistake, these cars are woefully underrated. Very few modern cars offer the pure driving experience offered by this GT and most that do are in a price range that is simply unattainable.
This is the closest Maserati has ever come to their own version of a 911. Later came the Granturismo. A much larger, heavier, more luxurious grand tourer. THIS is one of the most pure driver cars ever produced – EVER.
