I for sale a 1966 Mercury Monterey, this will be a NO RESERVE sale! This car needs frame work, the frame is rusted out in spots, I brought it to a frame shop for inspection and they recommended some sections of the frame need work. I bought this car from a shady car dealer who straight up lied to me, and my bad for not having the car inspected, When I received the car from the shipping company it wouldn"t start, he told me it ran great, well, it didn"t even start. I had the carb rebuilt and had it tuned up, the car runs fine now. The paint is just OK, it looks nice from a distance and the car does turn heads, if your planning on a restoration of this vehicle a paint job will most likely be needed, it has after market wheels and tires on it. The interior is in great condition for a car that is 53 years old, the convertible top has holes in it and will need to be replaced if you plan to drive it with the top up, the top goes up and down smoothly. I installed a new battery, rebuilt carb, oil change. Please ask any questions, I will answer all questions as promptly as I can.
