Vehicle description

A fantastic truck! I"ve owned it for about 12 years and I just love it. I used to drive a lot around California when I was consulting so most miles are highway. I have maintained this truck so that if at any time I needed to drive across country I could jump in and go, that"s the way I run all my vehicles. Over the last few years and ~10k miles I"ve replace just about anything that could fail with this truck. It has a new transmission, transfer case and front differential. New radiator (hoses), alternator, starter, shocks, air compressor for rear leveling. New plugs, wires and air raid cold air intake. New 22" Cadillac rims and tires. Completely rebuilt the front end this summer, all suspension parts, uppers, lowers, inners, outers. New headlights. Has a true dual exhaust. I bought it from an older gentleman in northern California many years ago when I lived in San Francisco. I"m pricing it for what it"s worth, probably way over book I"m not sure. These are becoming more difficult to find and even more hard to find from one of the first owners with all the history. The main reasons I"m thinking about selling it is it"s a super pain in the ass to park in my parking garage and it"s a good market to sell a used truck right now. I just drove it up to Vermont a week ago, it"s rock solid. I did undercoat it a couple years ago because I live now in DC and there is snow sometimes. Now the known issues. The valve covers leak a little, about 1 quart every 3k miles I haven"t fixed it since I change the oil every 3k miles so it really doesn"t bother me. The service stability control message is on, I"m almost certain it"s a resistor that plugs into the shock connectors. It used to have active, magnetic ride shocks that are stupid expensive and with it having 16" rims from the factory the ride wasn"t that great so I converted it many years ago to "passive" shocks so you can put regular shocks on it and i think when the front end was rebuilt this summer they knocked one off. I have all new bypass resistors, I just haven"t got to it yet. I put new drilled and slotted rotors and new pads around this summer and they squeak a bit but they work really well.
