This 1999 2500 ¾ ton diesel 4x4 Chevrolet Suburban has been a fun project but Momma wants a new Navigator so it’s got to go. Turning what was an already wonderful vehicle to something that catches your eye without being to flashy has been fun. The last picture shows you what we started with and has been in the family since new. The paint was still in great shape so it was a fantastic base to build from. At this age of the C/K I decided to rebuild everything that that usually goes bad. All front-end steering and suspension components were replaced Mostly with A.C. Delco. The wheel bearings were replaced along with slotted and drilled rotors with new upgraded pads and calipers. The vehicle has been leveled correctly with new shocks all the way around. I also had custom upper control arms made by “Jimmy’s rods and customs” to still use the factory ball joints for a correct leveling of the vehicle as no one makes them for a ¾ or 1 ton. We installed 12x20 MOTO metal wheels and Nitto 420s on them. I upgraded the radiator purchased from unique diesel for the best cooling available. All new A.C. condenser. The ECU has been relocated with a fan to avoid the problems these types of vehicles had with overheating. The 6.5 turbodiesel runs great and has been serviced regularly. The 4l80E automatic transmission shifts perfect without any problems. Smittybuilt roof rack was installed above the original rack and no holes were made. Custom front and rear bumpers from MOVE were installed using an epoxy primer and Raptor bed liner on top. The front bumper has a new 12000lb wench, this includes the wireless remote but hasn’t been installed. The Raptor bedliner in also installed on the door bottoms, front grill and steps. The flash on the pictures males the rapter liner look blotchy but it isn"t, and this has held up great for over a year now. All the lighting is LED except the new front headlights, this includes all the interior lights as well. The interior is in great condition and the leather is still soft on the seats. Both front seats have working power and heat. They have no tears or heavy wear marks. The carpet has been replaced and the vehicle comes with fitted rubber floor mats for the first, second, and rear trunk areas. The radio was replaced with a Kenwood double DIN unit that has DVD and android auto/ Apple play, with USB plug ins with front and rear cameras installed. All speakers were replaced with Kenwood as well. The A.C. and heat works along with the dual zone. All new door lock actuators and window motors. The door hinge bushings were replaced and close very smoothly. The vehicle also comes with a prodigy trailer brake system. No expenses were spared building this ride and I had fun doing it. It gets a lot of looks and sounds great being a diesel Items that are not 100% include Small 3 inch crack on dash beside front windshield (not really noticeable). Passenger visor mirror is missing. Small cut on left rear door panel the size of a dime. Left valve cover leaks very little. Overall this is a great vehicle and I’ve had a blast building it and using it with my family! $500.00 deposit due immediately at the end of the auction. I also have this item listed locally for sale.
