Ive come to the sad realization that I have more personal projects than life left. So, selling this half done, awesome baja bug project. I picked the car up in New Mexico just over a year ago, it previously sat in Texas.
Just about everything is included to finish up the car minus a carb, weather stipping, a clutch and a battery.
The body is rust free, and straight. About 75% of the paint prep work is done. The floors and package shelve do have some rust. This auction includes brand new heavy duty floor pans, and a new package shelf. No rust in heater channels, pick up points etc.
New Disk brake kit, still in box.
All glass is in great shape, with pop out windows!
Off road seats, with original sliders to make mounts.
Baja bug body kit. In good shape, minus the left front fender needs a little repair. Nicely cut rear body section and not all hacked up like some bajas.
Fresh 1600cc sp engine. w/dog house oil cooler. Dual carb manifolds and linkage
