The M2 CS is a very special car and might be the last true enthusiast’s BMW. It has been compared to the E30 M3 and the 1M. The CS has more power under its new vented hood, more cornering bite and more attitude everywhere else. It how has the 3.0 liter M4 engine, a twin-turbo straight six that has been turned up to 444 hp with 406 lb of torque and can run to 60 mph in 3.4 seconds. The suspension now has adaptive dampers that are stiffer, electronic limited-slip differential, and lighter forged 19-inch wheels wrapped in sticky Michelin Cup tires. To make the car even lighter BMW used a variety of carbon fiber parts, including the roof, splitter and trunk spoiler. The CS also has the luxury you would expect for any BMW. It comes as standard with air-conditioning, fully-fledged iDrive infotainment, and two very useable back seats.
