2005 BMW 745Li The vehicle has been well taken care of and stored in a garage. Its condition is good. Some background on the vehicle. We are not the original owners; we have owned this vehicle for about six or so years. The vehicle has always and continues to run great. In 2019, a smog was required and to our surprise the car did not pass smog even though the car was running great. According to the smog guy, there were no codes popping up, but the car had a “drive cycle” that needed to be cleared, more specifically an “evap. system monitor cycle” that was showing “incomplete” which we did not know was there until a smog was done. To make a long story short, the “drive cycle” has cleared, the car is still running great and PASSED SMOG this year (2020). I was told that due to all the work completed, this car should not have any smog related issues pop up for the next 100,000 miles or so, but I am no professional. Work completed on the vehicle within the last year or so: - Secondary Air Injection Control Valve (Right and Left) - Upstream Oxygen Sensors (Right and Left) - Auxiliary Air Injection Valve Hose - Smog Hoses Replaced - NEW Battery - Air Intake Manifold Gasket Replaced - Secondary Air Pump Replaced - Water Pump Replaced - Idler Pullies Replaced - Intake Ports & Valve Cleaned for All Carbon Material ( Culprit for the “drive cycle” ) - Coolant Flushed - Parking Brake Plastic Gear Replaced with a Metal Gear - Newer tires (Front and Rear) If I have forgotten to add something, but remember due to a question, I will add to the description.
