Vehicle description
KBB for this car year make and model with its miles goes for $9000-11000. The reason why I am selling it for $5000 is because it has a couple of things that need to be fixed. I would"ve fixed them myself but I ran out of time and am flying back to the mainland for school. If you think you can fix it for under $4k (very doable) then this is a good deal. If no one buys the car in the next 2 days, I will be shipping it back to the mainland so keep that in mind. I bought this car two months ago and have been fixing it on the side as a project so feel free to ask me what I have done and the history, etc. Here is what needs to be fixed according to the BMW Honolulu:
- Oil Pan Gasket (Oil is leaking) - -> Replace - Water Pump (Thermostat is leaking and water pump hose is swelled up due to oil leaks) - -> Replace - Engine Mounts (One side collapsed) - -> Replace - Shocks (Just leaking but really not crucial to have fixed, just a performance thing) - ->Replace - Windshield Wiper Fluid (isn"t coming out for some reason) - -> Not Diagnosed
These issues cost about $800 in parts and 10-15 hours in labor. If you are thinking about taking it to a mechanic, it wouldn"t cost you more than $3000 for everything but fixing the leaking shocks which aren"t really necessary to drive the car.
Car runs fine now. Please message me to come check it out! I live right by the Costco in downtown Honolulu.
Also, I think I put the VIN number in wrong and so the history check didn"t register it. I can show you the car fax I got from when I bought the car 2 months ago. It is completely clean.
