I bought this car at 116k about three years ago and it’s pretty much been babied since then. Mobil 1 synthetic every 4K miles, mostly highway driving, etc. Any maintenance or work has been done immediately or even before it was needed: The timing chain was replaced two summers ago, the gas cap, evap purge solenoid, spark plugs have all been changed also (as well as pretty much every other routine maintenance item). This car has been really well taken care of; I planned on keeping this car forever and eventually doing a 5.3 swap. However, I just purchased a home and need to get new appliances; and so as much as it pains me, this G8 needs a new home.
