Volkswagen Jetta GL Wagon manufactured in Wolfsburg Germany. In good shape for its age. Runs, but did not pass recent inspection due to a slow exhaust leak which requires a new catalytic converter assembly. Thule roof bike rack included - shows some wear but is still solid and functional. This cost $600 new.
Recent work to the car includes: replacement of left inner tie rod, oil change, replaced coolant flange and temp sensor, replaced dimmer switch, replaced rear ABS speed sensor. Car does get some mild condensation, would benefit from some work on the window seals. There are some little signs of wear to exterior, nothing major, and some minor pitting on the windshield, again nothing worrisome. There is moderate wear to upholstery and some discoloration on back seat. No noticeable tears or anything major. A/C works great, CD/cassette radio works great and recently had fuse replaced, alignment is good, fun car to drive, compact but with a lot of cargo space. Brilliant design. I have owned the car about 5 years. Previous owner babied it and had regular dealer checkups and maintenance. I am not a "car person" but have tried to provide as much info as possible.
