1998 Honda Civic EX
Title in hand This was a great car when It was running but it stopped and I have not had the money to get it towed to diagnose the problem
For a while before it stopped it would take 3-5 times turning over before starting, about twice as long as it seemed like it should take There is a slow oil leak but I strongly suspect that the engine is not the reason it stopped starting.
I am the third owner. There are a number of issues The drivers side door handle broke one cold day I replaced the middle part of the exhaust system and after that the catalytic converter sounded like there was something loose inside it. Also the exhaust smelled worse after that Stored on the street, the sun has damaged the rubbery steering wheel (see pictures) There is a dent on the front bumper cover There is a dent on the passenger side door Headliner has damage and is coming off the drivers sun visor The inner panel of the drivers side door is damaged from the previous owners attempts to fix the window mechanism(eventually it was fixed by a professional) 3 hubcaps present AC was not working The battery was near new when it stopped running but I know that lead acid batteries don"t like neglect so after about a year sitting it might not be good I have been told that the front left wheel bearing needs changing I only have one key for it
I have records for it but I don"t know if what I got from the previous owners was comprehensive
I was thinking of maybe parting it out myself but I don"t like the idea of living amongst a bunch of car parts while doing that
