DISC BRAKES, POWER STEERING & MUCH MORE ! ! AUTHENTIC BRC-201 LEGENDARY MAGNUM 500 WHEELS / WHITE LETTER PERFORMANCE TIRES *PSLSCTF BIG BLOCK BLUEPRINTED PRO SERIES 454 “INTERNALLY BALANCED”* 700 R4 BUILT BY DILLON RACING TEAM “4340 STEEL INPUT SHAFT & ALUMINUM TRANSBRAKE PERFORMANCE CLUTCHS”! Thanks to the aficionados & bow tie fans throughout the world “no classic Chevy is more desirable than 1970 Chevelle”! When you throw a convertible top in the mix You’ve got a product that is simply fascinating! Whether presented as the legendary LS6 or SS form the big block & wide body stance still ranks numero uno among enthusiasts! Over the last decade prices have continued to sky rocket to avenues that most can’t reach. All things being equal “fortune has come by aid of a well known collector in the Mid West”. If you have been waiting on a quality blue chip investment that is super fun & ready to be fully enjoyed “this may be the one for you”! DON’T MISS OUT! THIS BEAUTIFUL HEAVY CHEVY IS UP FOR GRABS IMMEDIATELY! THE SERIOUS BUYER IS STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO CALL (314) 497-9470 “ONCE IN A LIFETIME OPPORTUNITY”! IF A DEAL CAN BE REACHED THE AUCTION WILL CEASE! There’s quite a bit that can be said for this impressive convertible muscle car. Every single person that comes in contact with it absolutely loves it!
The admiration starts at first blush and gets even better when the ignition is engaged! Once the ominous sound trumpets from the chambered exhaust attention is commanded from anyone in earshot! So let’s get into it: This Raven Black SS tribute presents itself extraordinarily well from all angles. It was originally delivered to dealership 42711 in Maryland many moons ago. History points to it being driven by the dealerships finance manager as a demo. Early on it served duty as a showroom show pony. The car was eventually sold to a neighboring state resident. Although not much is known about the first owner we can say that he “undoubtedly pampered the car”. Various assembly casting numbers and factory watermark stamps can still be identified over the circumference of the body. This enduring antique model would finally wind up in the Mid West & find Missouri as a place to call home. A well respected collector acquired it a few years ago and commissioned a restoration for the ages!
Here’s what we know: The car was taken out of storage and transported to Carolina Classics to have the body stripped & prepped for paint. To know the artisan who was assigned to the task is to love him “ PERFECTION IS THE KEY” ! Ensuring all original tooling, gaps, body lines & manufacturing specifications were met was not negotiable. The slow / dawdling process would take over five months to complete in total! Once this criteria was met and the team audited his design groundwork for paint began. A blend 2019 Ferrari 488 Pista donned in Nero black was chosen for the new color encasement. Words can’t describe the depth and midst of its properties or hue! The BlackWidow Pettit paint almost looks wet at any given time of day. Since this rag top has only been utilized less than 500 miles since completion it still looks new.
Gracefully laid across the uttermost carapace of this G Body is a perfect set of iconic racing stripes! A blend of VOC conventional Urethane with UR60 fast reducers was enlisted to complete the task. Again accuracy & correctness “stood head and shoulders above all” so the front bumper was refurbished by Stratford Plating. The rear #MAU-70RK & bumper pad was supplied by Ground Up restorations in Naugatuck CT (licensed GM dealer).
To further enhance this Chevelles racing characteristics (AMD-930 wheel opening moldings) were installed. All N.O.S emblems & marker lights were refurbished and obtained via aid of Roadkill Customs.
The Golden Star glass enclosing the cockpit is crystal clear (convertible back glass as well) and without defect.
Going for a cruise at night with the top down is very much in play (new 5-3/4 Xenon Halogen bulbs installed). I could go on but prefer to let the pictures finish the job. At the end of the day what has been formulated through years of hard work & detail makes this one a GREAT BUY / INVESTMENT!
The menacing big block hood pictured above is well worth the professionally appraised value! LET’S TAKE A FINAL PEEK! !

To help compliment this unique muscle cars exterior a beautiful ebony black convertible top shields the interior. Nothing but the best would do so a 3-ply composite StayFast vinyl roof was elected. With patterned manufacturing stitched for a tight fit there’s no need to worry about leaks or peeling. The pads, straps, well liner and rear window were also professionally replaced. A Legendary Auto Restorations parade boot with sewn protective pockets can be located in back. Drop top fun is easily accessible and calling for enjoyment when the mercury goes beyond 60 degrees! CHECK IT OUT!
From the moment you open the door it is easy to appreciate the RPO 791 Ivory interior. (A shadow is cast because pictures were taken inside).
PUI upholstery has this model ready for prime time! Heavy weight Madrid grain vinyl is used to comprise an original textured look! New Al Knoch 118 seat foam / cushions with custom fitted burlap were added for maximum comfort! The factory release buttons, seat belts and seat backs with aprons were provided by Distinctive Industries.
New loop pile carpet and ACC vinyl floor mats help to further grace what’s inside!
Original Parts Group was called upon to supply the door panels (arm rest are original). These were chosen because of the dielectrically imprinted material. They are guaranteed not to putrefy like most sub standard panels over time. New window cranks, door handles & hardware have also been installed.
PUI quarter panel trim located in back is simply flawless (nice convertible button snaps are intact). The factory center console was sent off to Precision Musclecars to be brought back up to snuff. The console door, dial plate, sealing strips, wiring harness and lock striker were all refurbished!
There’s a pair of Goodmark Soff Seal weather strip liners placed adjacent to the door guard in perfect harmony! A pristine collection of factory gauges are in place along with analog temp/oil components that thrust out from the center section.
Enticing you to mash the pedal NICELY DONE ! As with almost everyone who comes in contact with this muscle machine “enquiring minds want to know” what’s underneath the hood?
I’m happy to say that when the lid is lifted no one ever leaves disappointed. The block that was sanctioned to terrorize the streets in this bow tie is an early production 454! “Yes” The cowl induction hood is functioning!
It’s fitted with a 4.47 forged crank and an unprecedented laundry list of additional performance parts. To ensure all ratio values were at an optimum level the block was honed for precision. The 291 code rectangular cylinder heads have been polished. Up top and eager to run full throttle is an Edelbrock Performer high performance intake!
Distributing the fuel is cinch thanks in part to a 700 CFM carburetor (4 barrel)! 8 MM silicone performance wires & zero degree titanium spark plugs safeguards dependability. AC Delco belts are wrapped around each pulley. A Select Team solenoid is also in place. To top things off she’s always cool in the fast lane thanks to the three core OEM radiator, Thermo King thermostat & steel fuel racing lines. A free following PRO COMP air cleaner & bright orange Chevy valve covers shields the performance parts! A 700 R4 transmission has been mated to the block so she can handle all of the power at the rear wheels (torque Dyno above 500 H.P.)! This vintage vehicle breathes like none other. An excellent set of MTC American racing long tube headers & Borla Competition performance mufflers supplies the power flow! TAKE A LISTEN!

A Detroit Speed sway bar was added to avoid drifting. Again this vehicle is ready to be enjoyed fully! The time, resources and labor hours spent to formulate what has been produced can’t be properly measured “rare opportunity”! Here’s yet more good news “she’s just as nice underneath”!
