Very Rare Original 1964 Dodge 880 9 Passenger Station Wagon
Here we have for sale a very rare, original 1964 Dodge 880 9 passenger station wagon. This station wagon is in excellent condition for its age and it’s very rare. There was only 1082 of these 9 passenger station wagons ever built. We bought this beauty from the original owners family who bought the car brand new in 1964. We have so much original documentation that goes with the station wagon. We have the original manuals, original registrations dating all the way to the first one. There are most, if not all of the receipts from service and maintenance that goes with it. The wagon runs and drives beautifully and it’s an absolute blast to drive. It’s so smooth and comfortable to drive. The power steering is a breeze to turn and the power brakes stop very well. The engine is a 361ci v8 that runs very well and the transmission is a 3 speed automatic torque flight. The transmission shifts by push buttons on the dash. That’s pretty cool! The body is in really nice shape for its age. It’s really straight. There are a few minor dings in the body. Most of the paint on the car is original and the interior is completely original. There are a few body panels that have been repainted. I just fully detailed the paint with paint correction, glazed and waxed. It shines very nicely! There are some chips and scratches in the paint here are there. The chrome is all original on the car. The chrome does have patina on it. The windows are all original. The front windshield has a couple of chips in it. The original electric roll down back window still functions properly. The hubcaps are all original and in great shape. The tires are in good shape too. The trim is in intact. There are some pieces that have some dings in the once back end of the car. The interior is really nice and original on the car. The seat covers are all original, and have had original accessory rubber seat protectors on them since new. I still have them and will go with the car. The carpet is original and in great shape. It has original accessory floor mats that are in great shape that are still in the car. The dash is beautiful and shines really well. The original dash pad looks great but has a crack in the top of it. The gauges all appear to work. The speedometer cable just broke unfortunately. The original radio is still fully functioning and sounds great. The horn works perfect and all of the electrical on the car. The original headliner and sun visors are in excellent condition. There are a couple of holes in the back of the headliner. The third row seat is really neat that it’s facing backwards. The seat is in amazing shape. The original plastic trunk liner has hardened and has cracked and is chipping off. It’s only in the trunk area. I have the original title, manual and other paperwork that goes with the car. This is such a rare and highly collectible station wagon. It’s a beautiful car that you can jump in and take for a nice cruise. Nobody else will have one of these since there was only 1082 ever built. How many can be still around. The car isn’t perfect but a car that is a really nice driver and you can be proud to owner and show off. I can store the car for a couple of months so that shipping arrangements are made and the car is picked up. I accept cash, check or money order as forms of payment. Please call if you have any questions. Thanks for looking!
