Paste link into a browser window: [isdntekvideo] For sale is a one-of-a-kind highly detailed and well-engineered show winning 1971 Opel GT Pro Street which is powered by a fuel injected 510 c.i. big block Chevrolet putting out a dyno’d 588 h.p. and 618 ft. lbs. of torque at 5600 rpm and getting 14 mpg on high octane pump gas! NO TRADES Originally, the owner completed the car in 2000, but as recently as 2015 (and 6000 miles ago) went through the entire car (including a fifth paint job) to its current House of Color Fuschis Purple with large metalflake paint scheme and velour interior. The Opel has been lengthened 5” in the front using an extended fiberglass front end hand made by the owner. The rear has been moved 2” back, thus giving the car more stability and better handling characteristics. The owner built the entire car himself except for the paint & bodywork. He made many custom one-off items such as the entire square tube chassis and aluminum flooring. All the pulleys on the engine he machined from aluminum (NOT March items). The Stainless-Steel front grill and headlight brackets were hand fabricated. The Stainless-Steel side exhaust and baffles he fabricated and polished. The list of items goes on and on.
