1958 austin healey 100-6.car has been under restoration for the last 20 years .Car was purchased from a retired mechanic 15 years ago I was told the engine had 30,000 miles on it when removed.It is a 1958 or 1959 engine that I did here run years ago Transmission with overdrive seems to shift through the gears flawlessly .There are thousands of dollars of new parts that were purchased for this car .Car is in really good shape I was told the owner was building it for vintage racing it looks like the bottom of the frame was reinforced with custom channel along the bottom The carburetors were rebuilt by SU carbs at a cost of over$800. it also looks like shock towers were added at the rear replacing the knee shocks.Exhaust parts were ceramic coated along with the oil filter housing.It comes with brand new stainless steel exhaust.Has two sets of windshield posts.radiator was supposedly been boiled out ,original grill in excellent shape.The seats that were bought for this car are ResTall Masterfit vintage racing seats I have seen the seats alone go for $4,000 .Windshield and frame are in excellent shape Has brand new gas tank and sending unit Rear brakes have been rebuilt front rotors have been purchased not installed.Calipers need to be rebuilt probably. Beautiful original hard top needs rear glass and head liner.Has three different sets of wheels one set brand new 60 spoke chrome wheels purchased $1600 has 4 knock off wings and two knock off hubs will need the two for the front.Has two sets of fenders one set was metal original flared needs restoring but rust free.The other set of front fenders are in great shape and need the lower patch panels installed they have been purchased and come with the car.The rear fenders are fiberglass never installed.Has all the badging purchased and ready to install.The instrument panel and 3 gauges are in excellent shape New Lacarra steering wheel and hub assembly.the other wheels are a set of spokes and the last set is vintage kidney bean wheels.There seems to be no rust I can see a few patch panels looked like they have been added.This is a great project for someone to finish.Amazing amount of parts have been acquired towards this build.Engine and transmission are worth over $6,000 alone My reserve is low so happy bidding need this out of my garage too many other projects It is currently under non op for the registration.
