Vehicle description
One of the first road vehicles manufactured by Alpina was the B7 Turbo, which was produced in small series in December 1978 based on the then 5-series BMW of the E12 series.
The B7 engine was based on the BMW in-line six-cylinder M30B30, which was specially modified. A K27 exhaust gas turbocharger was installed, which enabled an engine output of 221 kW (300 hp) with a variable boost pressure between 0.6 and 0.9 bar.
This made the Alpina B7 Turbo the fastest mass-produced sedan in the world at the end of the 1970s. At the same time, Alpina manufactured the B7 Turbo Coupé, which was based on the 6-series BMW of the E24 series. Here, too, the same engine delivered 300 hp.

For the first 30 years it was moved and looked after by its owner in France. In 2012 the B7 came back to Germany and was restored by a specialist company.
The interior could be left in its original state.
