Vehicle description
classic truck Authentic 1968 Mercury M-100 long bed
Almost extinct-rare? This truck is is an elite treasure that turns many of heads on the road, most people have never seen one so they can"t believe what they just saw, making it fun to drive just to see their expressions. It gets so much attention, especially at gas stations, you would think you were driving a Ferrari! Because of its uniqueness a s imilar one was driven by Robert Redford in the movie Horse Wisperer. Just recently, professionally rebuilt its" 240 engine, I have receipt proof, still under warranty, runs powerfully. Entire brake system completely redone. Truck is mechanically sound all the way around, etc. etc. .
I have clear title showing that it is, an authentic, Mercury M-100
Brief history: As you may know, 1968 was the last year Ford Mercury built and sold the M-100 truck in Canada only. https:/ en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mercury_M_series
Because of its legendary straight six engine, for lucky owners, the M-100 truck was an enduring workhorse for decades, as such, most owners drove them to the ground. Thus leaving scarcely any to become collectibles. In fact I have searched the internet for a 1968 Mercury M-100 with floor stick manual transmission, and find this to be the ONLY ONE of its kind for sale right now in the entire world/net. No one has been able to prove me wrong on this yet, once again evidence that this is a very rare vehicle. https:/ www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2017-06-19/why-now-s-the-time-to-invest-in-a-vintage-ford-pickup-truck
