Vehicle description
This is a great, low mileage example of the 944 in its Base form. There are a few squawks which are mentioned below, but nevertheless a great driver and all-round weekend cruiser. This is not a project car, but one with solid bones and mechanical"s which needs finishing.
The Good Clean and complete Interior Slight separation in the driver"s seat baffle. Rebuilt Air box on Intake New Fuel Injectors. New K & N Air Filter Setup All new Vacuum lines. Many hoses replaced including those under the Manifold. Intake Manifold dipped and cleaned at radiator shop. Excellent tires - 90%. Tinted Windows. New Brakes and Rotors. Handbrake pads replaced too. Sunroof gears and gear arms have been replaced. Odometer gear has been replaced. Adjustable ride front strut mods. Factory replacements are no longer available for this car. Factory Air Box included if desired.
Things needing attention.
Transmission - 3rd gear synchro is shot. Driver"s side rocker panel has dent which needs pulled. Paint is serviceable but could use a fresh spray. LCD Clock is INOP. A/C is INOP but has all factory installed parts in place. Never touched. Timing and Balancing belt should be replaced, but still serviceable. Radio antenna could use a booster setup. Otherwise a good Blaupunkt stereo. Wheels are custom powder coated, with changing rash or one wheel. Driver"s side electric mirror button needs to be reset in panel.
