1999 Jeep Wrangler 4.0 stroked to 4.2 and turbocharged! less than 500 miles, Block bored .030, Heads milled with bigger intake and exhaust valves, double valve springs, ARP studs, forged pistons, forged rods, new 4.2 crank. The engine is custom built for the 4T turbo, 12 lbs boost. Runs very strong! SCT tuner with a custom tune for timing and fuel trim and 39lb injectors. Inter-cooler from a Ford Raptor. Automatic Transmission was professional rebuilt 2k miles back. New transfer case about 8k miles back. Upgraded driveshafts. 4.56 gears with locker in rear. Check out all the pictures!
Custom shorten hard top, good Koma 35" x 15 tires, winch with synthetic line. Rino lined inside and out, new rubber heat / sound barrier and sound mat in floor board. New stainless welded exhaust, flow-master with Borla tip
It does need a few things to complete, I"m just out of time and money.
Needs front differential changed to 4.56, I have the front driveshaft but its out to avoid an accidental 4x4 engage. 4x4 system works perfect just not with different gearing front to rear. Does not affect 2 wheel driving. Needs an oil cooler. The turbo will eventually heat soak the engine oil. Its still very driveable.
