. . my name is Tom I am a licensed mechanic and PA diesel truck dealer with experience going back to the early 1970"s. For those of you who remember when you got your car fueled up the attendant that ran out to fill your car up? That was me. .
it is where I started my journey into the car business, at 14 I walked down to my uncles Texaco station in south central PA, after football practice, I"d put on my striped shirt and greeted the customers filled them up, checked the oil, washed the windows and whatever else I could do to get tips;). He let me in the garage when I got to high school and did engine work, brakes, welding and just about everything else but where I really excelled is when he started selling cars, I enjoyed helping customers find the car or truck or there dreams. I started my own lot in 1979 and built it up to the size of any new car dealership with 50 employees, 12 shop bays and well over 100 trucks on the lot, we sold that property and dealership back in 2006 and today nearing 60 years old I am semi retired and opened this small hobby lot located in Carlisle PA. I still have the passion for diesel trucks in which I"m an expert (by the way anyone who does anything successful for 35 years is an expert in my opinion), and I also have the passion just as I did at 18 to help people find the truck of there dreams. If you give me the opportunity I promise I will do everything in my power not to let you down. .
I know these old cummins diesel/and 7.3"s trucks inside and out and I personally drive one and love these trucks emmensley. What I hate the older ones here in the northeast since they just melt away from all the rust and bondo they are loaded up with so I fly out west to Southern California,Texas, and other west coast and southern states to buy a few clean rustfree 1 owners and drive them home to sell in the northeast.
A few things to know before bidding or becoming interested in one of my trucks, I do not play games with the price, I do my homework price low for fast cash sales on the buy it now that is what I need if you do the research you will see, however serious cash buyers are encouraged to bring cash offers close to buy it now we might deal to the right buyer, the right buyer to me does his or her homework and knows the market price on these old diesels, is easy to deal with and has there expectations in line, what I"m not looking for is people shooting lowball prices, bringing a magnifying glass to scrutinize a 15-20 year old work truck, if you need new I do not sell that they are tens of thousands of dollars more money and don"t last long at all go to the new dealer if that is the case. But if your serious about buying a nice older diesel and are good to get along with that is me as well I will make you a sweet deal, stop down if you can. I also do airport pickup at Harrisburg International, return 1 way rentals, shipping, have on call hours 7 days a week and I am a bonded tag agent and issue temp tags/title transfer on the spot at my office, I also do long or short deliverys and have on call hours 7 days a week from 9-9 east time. 717 991 0568

Got this lifelong north carolina 97 Dodge Ram 2500 Larimie 4WD SLT EXT Longbed with the 5.9 cummins diesel 12 valve engine all origional shape not tampered with, pump all stock as well as injectors ect. . She fires right up quick no smoke no blow by, excellant power, no leaks, has 3 inch spring lift, 35"s rubber new wheels, rubber new in front 1/2 in back, have stock wheels for extra if desired, just spent 800 rebuilding front end, ty rods track bar steering box ect, so shes got power and tight up front, a joy to drive, good brakes and rotors, good exhaust.
Body is excellant shape and straight with no rust or bondo, frame is mint with no rust or scale and all orig paint undercoating from factory, interior is exceptionally nice too with cold air and toys working, good seats, dash and door panels.
This as it sits will make a real nice truck for a daily driver and if you decide to show and go needs a coat of paint and some detailing and youll get a trophy for sure,
realistically priced for fast sale please dont bother low balling my buy it now is what I need, also get a 5 speed stick I plan to put on only after this sells dont think I can handle selling 2 at once lol
