Vehicle description
I purchased this Targa 4s 997 back in 2012 with 30K miles on it from an insurance auction. It was a Theft Recovery Vehicle. I have put over 20,000 miles on it since then and have never had a problem. I have always had it serviced at Harper Porsche of Knoxville and I have the oil changed every year or 10K miles whichever comes first. The car runs great and is very fast. It has a 5 speed Triptronic Transmission with a 3.8 liter flat 6 engine that produces 355Hp @ 7600 RPM"s and 295 Ft-Lb of Torque @ 4600 RPM"s. The Targa 4s is a all wheel drive car with a wide body with bigger tires and brakes. There were only 475 of these cars produced in 2007. This is a very rear 911 to have. This car will come with a fresh oil change and a 50K mile service before deviled to the new owner at my expense. There are two sets of pictures of this car. One set is from today 10/16/2019 of it at the lake, the other set of photos are form the insurance company that I purchased it from back in 2012. It may have a salvage title but as you can see it was never salvage!

kbaumg Hi. Am very interested in your Targa. the before photos so a lot of dirt all over car and in the interior. . what was the actual damage and accident?
I see some large white scrapes on the front and back bumpers. what are these from? ANSWER #1
New message to: kbaumg Thank you for your interest. I have just updated the ebay add with pictures that I took of the interior of the car this morning 10/24/2019. When I purchased the car it was consider a theft recovery vehicle, and when I had it titled in the state of TN they made me send in a before and after pictures and them they gave me a TN Title for it. Boom it was that easy. As for the scrapes on the front and back bumpers. Well that is from my woman"s amazing driving abilities. I was told that the scrap came form curb that was too high to begin with. and the scrape on the back was from a pole at the airport parking garage.

That doesn"t answer WHAT the damage was or WHY there is so mich dirt in and outside the vehicle.
I"m not talking about the scrapes on the front and rear bumpers. . those actually appear to have happened after it was purchased (as I can"t see them in the Before photos.)
The car report shows it was in an accident.
Was it water damaged?

I cant explain the dirt on it form 7 years ago when i bought it form a salvage yard. If I remember right it was a dust lot. The staring bid is $29,995.0

There is no dumb question you can ask me. $30 grand is a lot of money. As for any problems. The cars runs good. I even stated in my ebay add that I will have it serviced by my locale Porsche dealer to the winning bidder before deliver to ensure nothing is wrong with this car
