Vehicle description
I love my Geo Metro, but living in the Pacific Northwest is not the most ideal location for a convertible with a lot of rain and snow.
It"s used, and not perfect. It has a 6 year old roof on it, though (see pics) it was slashed right above the passenger door about a year after I replaced it, but it doesn"t leak from the cut, despite what it looks like. The cut only affects the outer layer, and isn"t visible from the inside. Doesn"t affect the folding of the roof in any way.
Passenger seat will tilt, but the little handle broke off. I still have it so it just needs to be welded back on.
Engine runs good, has a slight leak around the distributor. I replaced the O-ring but it continues to still leak a little. Clutch was replaced about 2 years ago. Muffler was replaced about 2 years ago as well. Has a brand new battery.
It comes with 2 sets of tires on rims, including the studded winter tires on rims (pictured). Both sets still have a lot of life in them.
Also comes with the auxiliary service manuals, spare tire with jack and lug wrench, and car cover.
Has a tad of rust just in front of the rear wheels.
Great economical commuter. Gets around 40 MPG (yes, 40!). Current tabs (expire 10/19).
