For sale, possibly one of the best examples of the legendary Toyota Hilux. These trucks have more than proved themselves throughout the entire world and this import is ready tp prove itself to you as well. Beautiful truck, would look good just about anywhere and can do just about anything. Take a moment to stare at this truck, I can"t seem to get tired of looking at it and if you"re a fan of Toyota I"m guessing you won"t either. The truck is as good as it gets for its age. Was brought up from Central America and was originally a Police/Military unit. These trucks are often used in foreign militaries due to their reliability and construction. Toyota knew they would be 3rd world military vehicles when they made them. This truck features the solid front axles and 4 doors, other than that she"s as basic as they get but does have AC. Y5 motor which is almost like your 20R and it is carbureted. This engine is used in Toyota fork lifts and the parts are found anywhere here in the states. Some people would prefer the diesel so I am including for free an entire 3L 2.8 Liter engine and transmission out of an LN106 model that has been properly turboed. I love the carbed Y5 engine but if you want a diesel you"ll have the choice, easy swap with no computer needed and transmission is included with the diesel swap. Neither engine has any computer and both are minimalists when it comes to wires. This truck has brand new BF Goodrich All Terrain K02 tires and a spare, safari style steel split rims which I am in love with and suspension and brakes are in perfect shape. This was restored before leaving Central America and the whole truck was meticulously taken apart, painted and reassembled Text (612-964-7609) for pics of that. Frame has a durable chassis coat and this truck has never had any rust of any kind and no corrosion of any kind known of and certainly none now. You would wonder about the power of this engine, its not a race engine and its not designed to be, its meant to always start and always get you there which it does. It does go 70, it does get about 20 MPG and maybe better but its simple and fun and great to tool around town or around your land. This is obviously one of the best off road vehicles money can buy and will certainly look the best doing it! Interior was completely redone as well so newly recovered seats, new flooring, new headliner and its all just absolutely beautiful its its simplistic fashion and appeal. Trucks are way too complicated these days and over time they break and have lots of electronic issues, take breath of fresh air and drive something that doesn"t have anything to break and is made to not need service and can just drive across with world. -I can set up shipping for you where ever you like, you will be responsible for the cost of that and I can assist you easily with getting it arranged. -This truck is US titled and title is in hand, there are no liens and this is a clean title and clean history vehilce. -It has been in Minnesota where it is now just for a couple of months and its been in storage.
