This 1978 Trans Am is a very solid and sorted car, One year only Martinique blue done in new PPG base clear is gorgeous. 400 Pontiac motor and 350 trans. Never checked numbers but believe to be original to car and actual mileage for both. motor gone through with new head gaskets, timing chain, valve stem seals, rebuilt Rochester 4 bbl carb. all internals in great shape. All fluids, tune up parts, hoses, new aluminum radiator and more new. All new Pypes stainless steal dual exhaust system. Inside new headliner and backing board, new dash cover, carpet, new tach, I didn"t bother putting in a stereo system as everyone wants some thing different. New windshield, all new weather seals, door panels, console door, sill plates, all new seat belts and more. Tires are new Coopers in original size on original rims, blasted painted and new center decals. Rear end gone through with new bearings and right axle. So much more. I have a folder full of receipts for just about every part I put on it. It runs and drives amazing, smooth tracks straight doesn"t over heat in 95 degree heat at all. No ticks, smoke, shifts great. Widow trim is original and has some scratches, so does the side glass, typical of these years design. This is not done as a show car but its very very nice driver.
