1978 Ford Bronco 460 Big Block - 4 speed. We recently picked up this 1978 Ford Bronco locally. The story behind this truck was that it sat for 17 years in a storage container before being rescued to a life of mud bogging. The truck was upgraded with one of Fords most reliable work horse Big Block 460 engines. I was told by the previous owner that the engine was freshened up. The crank was polished, flat top pistons were added, and a towing / rv cam was installed. I was also told that the axles were taken apart and lockers were installed. Urethane bushings were also added. and what appears to be a 4" lift kit. All of this work was done many years ago. Unfortunately, I do not have and documentation or way of verifying what was told to me. Judging by the pictures, it does appear as work was done on the engine and axles. The gas tank was cleaned and new fuel was added. The truck does run very well. after a couple pumps of the throttle, she fires right up. It idles smoothly and can be driven. It"s loud! open headers, no exhaust. I have had it through all of the 4 forward gears and reverse. The clutch feels strong, easy to push, and no slippage. The brakes do work. Power steering works. Tires are dry rotted and obviously not DOT. As far as the body is concerned. Please look at all of the pictures I have on my google photos link. For a 43 year old truck it"s in surprisingly good shape for a Pennsylvania vehicle. Clean Pennsylvania title. Please message me for pics before bidding . Ebay does not allow links in the description.
