Unbelievable Condition Throughout!
Here is an opportunity to own this very nice example of Ford"s legendary Superduty F350 dually powered by the sought after 7.3 Powerstroke diesel. Only available until mid 2003, these trucks are very desirable and getting harder to find this clean, with this low of mileage, and it is extremely hard to find one meticulously cared for like this one has been. Always garage kept, this stock unmodified truck is in very nice condition throughout. Clean carfax history on this Oregon truck and it is 100 percent rust free! Don"t pay six figures for your new loaded crew cab 4x4 diesel when you can have something this nice for SO MUCH LESS!
My friend Steve had owned this truck for the last 18 years prior to me purchasing it from him. He took excellent care of the truck and always kept it inside his garage. The truck received regular service as needed and was very meticulously maintained. He used the truck primarily to haul his camper and his family. There has never been a 5th wheel or gooseneck hitch installed and the truck has seen very minimal towing use. Upon retirement and the kids being grown, he sold the camper and downsized to a 1/2 ton pickup. Pride of ownership is reflected everywhere you look on this truck.
The paint and body on this truck are exceptional. The body is laser straight and the paint shows no fading or major flaws. I can"t even find a single door ding, it is that straight and nice! This is a used truck that was driven and has some very minor scratches with only one worth mentioning being a small scratch in the drivers bed side. (Close up shown in the photos below.) There are some rock chips present from being driven, most noticeable on the dually rear fenders. Otherwise, the paint is exceptional throughout and has a great shine to it. All of the body panels line up correctly, this truck has never been in any accident and has a clean carfax history. The door jams and hinge areas are super clean and look great. All of the exterior lights (headlights, tail lights, clearance lights, turn signals, brake lights, etc.) work as they should. The headlights are clean and not fogged over like many trucks of this year range. The bumpers are straight and shiny. The grill does not have any cracks and shows very nice. This truck has the optional towing mirrors which extend out for towing use. The glass is all good, no cracks or chips. It does have a sliding rear window and a bed liner. The running boards/ nerf bars are in excellent shape and allow for very easy entry and exit. These trucks sit up a little bit from the factory. (looks great) The original factory alloys are in great shape, free from any scuffs, curb rash, or chipping. The tires are BFG A/T"s and have approximately 90 percent tread life, almost new!
The interior is in about as nice of condition as one could ask for. Super clean, and only minimal if any wear showing. This is the XLT Lariat trim package which was one of the highest optioned truck at the time. It has power windows, power door locks, power mirrors, AM/FM/CD, leather upholstery, power seat, heated seats, tilt wheel, cold AC, overhead message center, premium wood grain accents, and lots more. All of the gauges work properly. All of the interior lights, convenience lights, etc. work as they should. The power windows, locks, mirrors, seat, all work flawlessly. The original factory sound system works great and sounds very nice. The headliner is flawless. The leather is in fantastic shape throughout and shows very minimal wear, way less than would be expected on a 20 year old truck. The dash does not have any cracks or scratches. The carpet is amazing, free from any stains, odors, or wear. All of the plastic interior trim pieces are nice, no cracks, breaks, or wear showing anywhere. Behind the back seat, the original jack and tire iron are present. The owner"s manual is included in the glove box. The console and its hinges are great, opens and closes correctly and not worn. There is no check engine light, ABS, or airbag light on. All of the light indicators come on as they should. (high beam, 4x4 engaged, etc.) The air conditioning blows ice cold and the heat gets nice and toasty. The interior of this truck is simply stunning and I don"t think you will find any nicer anywhere! You will not be disappointed!
The undercarriage of this truck is exceptionally nice. All of the frame and drivetrain are completely rust free. No fresh shiny paint hiding imperfections on the frame etc. like many other trucks might have. The rockers and inner quarter panels are amazing. The underside of the bed and floor pans are super nice. Straight, clean, and rust free. The inner fenders are clean, straight and rust free. Please see pics below to see how truly nice this truck is underneath. Hard to believe this truck is 20 years old!
How does it run and drive? The 7.3 Powerstroke diesel fires right up and sounds great. It sounds like a 7.3 diesel should and there is no excessive smoke or anything out of the ordinary. The engine has great power and amazing torque going down the road. This truck has never been chipped. It still has the factory airbox and oem style exhaust. Stock 7.3"s are renowned for their longevity and reliability especially in stock form. The transmission was professionally rebuilt at 127K with heavy duty upgrades, a new torque converter and trans temp gauge was added at that time. (about 11k miles ago, see photo of receipt.) So this is a virtually new transmission that is set up for driving/towing or whatever your needs are better than new from the factory. Shifts are firm and precise. The 4WD is engaged with a switch on the dash and works great. Just engage the manual hubs, turn the switch, and you"re good to go. The steering is tight and precise, no slop or wandering. The suspension is firm (F350 Dually) but rides very nice and smooth down the road. There is no excessive road/wind noise and no rattles or strange sounds going down the road. The brake pedal is firm and the stopping power is confidence inspiring, free from any pulls or shimmy. Simply put, you will be truly amazed at how nice this truck feels going down the road. Extremely nice, you will surely be impressed!
