68 cougar xr7 big block car/auto this car has been sitting inside a storage container for 30 years brought out once in awhile to be worked on over the years lower quarters have been replaced and body sanded & primed there was no dents in this car just a little rust in the lower quarters. this is a very solid car two little rust spots on the top inner fenders as you can see in the pics & not all the way through very easy fix .trunk/floors / rockers all solid no rust. inner quarter panel on right side where it drops down from the trunk to the lower part of the quarter panel about 2" still needs replaced but that"s it as far as rust is concerned.this car runs & can drive onto a trailer or around town if need be power steering & brakes work & no leaks. this was a dailey driver when the restoration was started & kept drivable so it could be moved around. looks like that some point in it"s life the 390 block was replaced with a service block because it has the bars on the side of the block but not sure if any of them came from the factory that way. but I do know it has the factory gt heads on it. engine runs very good with no smoke or noise of any kind. have all the parts for this car & all of them in very good shape,bumpers grill tailights bumper guards trim & all of the interior the only thing that I cannot find is the dashpad. this car needs very little to finish. have 5 69 cougars for parts to build 2 of them.so I don"t have the time for this one.the xr7 s code big block cars are getting very hard to find in this condition so not going to give it away ! . so bid what you think it"s worth.thanks
