* *The 2008 engine ran TIGHT as well, had GTS race bearings in it, and would still be going STRONG, had I not run over something that lodged into the oil pan, which caused it to fail.
* *I have the claim receipts from Hagerty, who would not have covered the $15,075.59 it cost to replace the engine with a 2012, with GTS race bearings. Covering a mechanical engine failure requires a deep inspection, and is only covered due to road damage. Hagerty claims adjusters know how to identify internal damage unrelated to the road. They are seasoned veterans.
