Vehicle description
1987 GMC 1500 4wd Everything on this truck is brand new! It runs and drives perfectly and is one of the nicest square body 4wd"s on the market today.
The following was done by the previous owner right before I bought the truck late last summer.
-Started as a 67000 mile all original truck -Full frame off restoration -Replaced the cab, fenders, and doors
-100% all new interior (seat, dash, carpet, visors, door panels, gauge bezel)
-All new seals and weatherstripping
-Rebuilt steering box and all new steering components
-Suspension Lift Kit (pretty mild lift, I think its a 2.5" but not positive)
-Aluminum wheels and 31x10.5” BFG tires
-Spray-in bed liner
-New grill, mirrors, headlights, tail lights, turn signals, side markers, bezels and emblems
-New windshield and rear slider
-New bumpers
-New paint inside and out
I bought the truck late last summer and just completed the following.
-LQ9 6.0 LS swap (came out of a 2002 Cadillac Escalade) -Replaced all the gaskets, new knock sensors, water pump and new belt
-Fully rebuilt 4L60 with 10 month remaining warranty -New torque converter -Advanced Adapters kit to connect the 4L60 to the original NP208 transfer case. -Cold air intake
-BP Automotive LS swap engine and transmission wiring harness
-New fuel tank with in tank EFI pump -Black braided EFI fuel lines with black AN fittings
-Extra large aluminum radiator -Dual 10” electric fans (controlled by the LS computer) -New battery -Vintage Air heater and air conditioning
-Dakota Digital Gauges -Alpine stereo system
-Stainless Steel headers
-Mandrel bent true dual exhaust with two FlowMaster 50 Series Delta Flow Mufflers and chrome 3" exhaust tips
-Fully Dyno tuned motor and transmission. The truck dyno"d at 310rwhp and 334ftlb at the rear wheels. Factoring in a 20% loss through the drivetrain the motor is making right at 386hp and 416 ftlb torque.
100% everything on the truck works exactly as it should, literally everything. It drives extremely well, goes straight as an arrow, has a surprising amount of power, the stereo sounds great, a/c blows ice cold, and it gets great gas mileage. The truck needs nothing other than a new home. I build classic cars and trucks as a hobby and do 1-2 a year. I build them and enjoy them for a while going to cruise ins and local car shows. This project has been a ton of fun and its time to move on to the next project. I can help coordinate shipping anywhere in the world (at buyers expense). I have a shipping broker I can recommend and have used them 5 times without any issues. Please feel free to message me or call if you have any questions. *The listing would not accept the actual VIN so I had to put in a generic one in there to get the ad posted. The previous owner lived in Indiana and due to the truck having a replacement cab the state issued a new VIN once the truck was restored. I called the the Indiana DMV to verify this process and it is correct. It is called a Special ID Number Packet. The previous Indian title was title number 184032400003 and the new VIN is MVIN370632IND.
