Vehicle description
2006 Chevrolet Colorado. Z-71, 4x4, 3.5L 5 cylinder engine and auto transmission. Has 126000 miles. Low compared to most. Runs and drives . and pretty much everything works as I can see. Im the owner since new, clean title in my name. All known issues and replacement parts listed below.
Cosmetic / mechanical Issues: 1. Typical rust on bed sides and rocker panels (both should be replaced)…also a few scuffs, scratches and small dents. 2. Has a small tranny leak 3. Needs a front to rear metal brake line replaced. Brake fluid dash light is on due to hole in line. 4. Drivers seat shows wear on bottom, carpet need cleaned 5. Spare tire holder and mechanism is broken (has good full size spare) 6. Wheels show typical wear. (Tires are all good).
Replaced parts in last 2 years: 1. Front drivers side fender, mirror 2. Drivers side front hub assembly 3. All parking brake cables 5. Belt idler pulley, belt 6. Trans filter kit 7. Two sensors 8. Cat back exhaust (Walker) 9. Pass side ball joints and tie rod ends, sway bar links 10. Drivers side caliper 11. Fuel pump replaced at 90,000 miles
The truck has been sitting under a carport on a charger since the inspection went out in October. Fires right up and sounds great. Only driven 3-4000 miles a year for the last five years. Oil always changed. New full rocker panels are $350.00 a set . shipped…and rust free beds can found from $400-800. Frame has surface rust/scale but as I can see it no structural issues as some Colorado’s seem to have. I tapped all over the frame rails and structural crossmembers with a hammer looking for soft spots and found none. I was going to fix this truck up…but lost interest. Never wrecked. Fix it up or part it out. Price is right.
This is a project truck. I wouldn’t feel safe selling it as a “drive it home truck”. I’d plan on a trailer or a shipping service. I feel the price is pretty fair per the Kelly Blue Book values. but feel free to make an offer. Complete running 3.5L engines alone are selling for over 1.5k-2k. This truck is a steal. Located in Clarion, Pa. With a little TLC this could be a nice truck. This truck being sold as is, where is. Full payment is due within 7 days.
