Vehicle description
Just bought this to use for another build, story as I got it
Custom built for the oil fields.
That"s pretty much it, the paintings in the photos are from where I bought it and where it sat for as I was told, "a year" You"ll see the van towards the top, the seller delivered it non running, our understanding was I was buying the drive line
I spent a couple hours and got it running, I actually feel bad salvaging it so putting up here first.
Motor, 460, runs very good, no smoke, knocks etc, fairly clean compared to others I"ve seen Aluminum intake and edelbrock carb, both appear new & never used, fresh gasket package and RTV seen, throttle and other items not hooked up Trans C6, goes into gear and drove around the yard Transfer case NP205 Front Axle King Pin Dana60 Rear Axle Dana70 Brakes, non existent and noisy, some hang up Body 50/50 leaning more to the lower 50 Frame, surface rust, no rot seen The body/roll cage bolted on the frame, no welds seen One fuel tank out, one in, neither hooked up, neither is the carb, so it was easy to run a line to with enough gas to start and drive around the yard, note the picture of the steering wheel, look on the dash, thats a coolant overflow I used to get running Tires, 38" bad condition
I was told this previously had alternators of some type that provided 120v, they have been removed but outlets remain, that roof AC unit has a 120v cord, the body was foam sprayed and paneled,(long ago) front/rear bumpers removed, looks like a winch may have been as well, unknown for certain
It has 3 Quadravan badges, my last Qvan (79) was coil sprung, this is leaf, so I do not know if that"s legit,
This has the potential to be an apocalyptic bug out machine, what you see is what you get, not sold with any promises, its parts or a project.
