1991 Mercedes-Benz G-Class 463 300GE LWB 4-door +A/C. Your chance to own one of my personal favorites - a rare Mercedes 300GE convertible! One of only around 30 in the USA. It is a rare 6 cylinder gasoline engine with factory A/C. Condition is Used. One of the easiest 5-speed manual transmissions I have ever driven. Operating winch. This vehicle has been meticulously maintained under my ownership since 2015. Seats have been recovered in genuine leather with black piping. Seat heaters were installed after market when I replaced the seat coverings - 4 heaters 2 front, 2 rear. New black carpet was installed throughout 3 years ago. No rust on the body. Engine runs perfectly. Everything works as it should (except the headlight squirts). I drive this vehicle almost everyday. No mechanical issues. I purchased a new canvas top from Schmude in Germany in 2015 (it is manual convertible top like a Jeep wrangler). There are 2 places where the zipper has slightly separated from the canvas in top upper rear, but it causes no problems, so I have not worried about getting it resown. New gas tank installed new automatic window mechanisms ($1200 each) installed. Vehicle did not come with an operators manual. The 4 wheels are 18" rims from my 2005 G500. Original rims were only 16". Spare tire is still the original 16" but I placed a new spare tire on it so it proportionately will function if needed with the other larger wheels. Tires are 3 months old Cooper ATs. I have owned and driven Gs for 15 years and I can assist buyer with finding any parts etc. with sources in USA & Germany. Imported from Germany prior to my purchase.
