Vehicle description
This is a MazdaSpeed 3 which I have owned for over 5 years. I had gotten the car for my wife to learn how to drive. She opted for something else because she did not like the feel of the car. I drove this and my truck to work. Earlier this year I had sold my truck on here and now this car because I have been just taking care of my daughter for over a year now and not going to work. There has been a lot done to the car the last year. April 2020 is when all the work started. Newer engine (the last one lost pressure on ring #4 at around 140k miles) got the engine off of here from a JDM importer suppose to have less than 45k miles the engine and had a master mechanic install the engine. New Turbo (from Rockauto) New Clutch and Fidanza flywheel New Spark plugs
With everything checked out and had some chatter in the engine and had another master mechanic shop do some more work which consisted of: New Timing with all the items that replace when done Also changed the oil pump (a tooth had broke off they said but never gave me the piece) PVC valve (I did this part) and hose (they did) Seals for the upper part and side of the engine Suppose to replace a clip for the rear sway bar, but did not. Never really bothered me so I have not done that either.
That work took the chatter away, said most likely lifters from the engine setting to long and they dried up. They also mention the flywheel had chatter (barely any) which it is after market and 2 piece which the OEM is one piece (First mechanic told me)
Well after all that was done I drove it home and the oil started to vanish. So I took the car to a Mazda dealership in Houston TX.
They said the oil feed line must be clogged so I replace the feed and drain line with OEM new lines and seems to have all the issues fixed.
Then the car set for a couple of months and I needed to put in a new battery a month ago.
After the engine and all being put in I have not even done 5,000 miles on the car. I do not drive around town much, mostly trips to see my father which is 600 miles one way. Which I take different cars when I see him.
The car had a lot of items already installed when I purchased the car: Bigger intercooler Down Pipe Turbox Blow off valve Cold air intake Solid motor and transmission mount
Which I after I got the car home I purchased a tuner so the car would run better. One of the owners before me was a smoker, but you can not smell the smoke in the car anymore. Just seeing some burn marks in some of the seats. Which I did work at chemical plants and power plants and this was my work car. That might of helped kill the smell. Tires have less than 10,000 miles on them. The windshield would need replacing. For me I would keep the car, but to get more cars my wife wants me to let one go. Also I now live in areas with HOA and not many are okay with people having more than 3 vehicles, which I still have the mazda tagged in Mississippi. This is the car we drive the least. A month ago I drove the car 1200 miles within 4 days, 600 miles one day and 600 miles another. No issues. I was in stopped traffic on the interstate on some of the hot days and saw other vehicles over heat and have to go to the side of the road. The car does get to 200 degrees, which is more common with high performance and newer cars. The AC works great and so does the heat. The turner will come with the car, which is the only way to see the temperature while driving. I will also change the oil and filter before the sale of the auction. I am going to try to include to include links for the starting of the car after it set for about 3 weeks and a drive around town and on the interstate. Which I have a channel on youtube with this same user name with the videos already posted.

If there are any questions please feel free to ask. Any more pictures or videos you need of the car, please let me know and I will try to get the information to you as fast as possible. If plans are made well I could drive the car to the new owner if they live within 600 miles of me on a weekend once the money is in my bank account for $2 a mile one way (Because I would need to fly or take a bus back home). I have a clear Mississippi title. The buyer can arrange to pick the car up or I could work with a shipper if you do not want me to deliver the car. If you come in to see the car and want to look it over I have tools at my house, just not a lift. If the buyer flies into one of the Houston, TX airports I could pick the buyer up or the buyer can use a ride service to get to my house, which is located in Sugar Land, TX. Thank you for your time and have a great day and hope you are able to find the vehicle you are looking for soon.
I am also listing the car for sale locally and other places. If the car sells before the auction ends then I will remove the listing. Thank you for your time. Already have had someone win and not pay.
