These two seat, Gt style, sports cars are becoming extremely hard to find in this condition. The AMX was not only sporty and attractive but it introduced many industry firsts and was deemed the best engineered car of 1970. To some, the AMX was considered a “muscle car" but it was unique due to its shorter wheelbase. Because of its shorter wheelbase . . and high compression 390 ci Engine, the AMX delivered top notch performance at a very affordable price. This particular car is fitted with the “go package". This includes many performance options. The main option was the new 390 ci (6.4 L) engine which was developed to have a large displacement within its minimal external dimensions and moderate weight. Additionally this car has the power blister ram air intake scoops on the hood. The inside of this AMX is In great condition as well. The wood grain dash, the wood grain steering wheel, and the tan leather seats pull this interior together and give it a sport yet somewhat luxurious feel.
