Vehicle description
This is now an excess vehicle to me, so it"s time to sell. Basics first: 1999 Amigo, 3.2, with a 5-speed. 201k miles. Clear title, in hand. Inspected in PA until 10/21. No problems which would make it unable to be inspected immediately. I am only the second owner.
Upgrades to suspension: 2-inch body lift, and 2 inch OME lift with new shocks all around, new coils, and bent upper arms to clear the gas tank from Classic City Overland before they closed. There is also a brake line extension to clear the differential. Five Falken Wildpeaks (including the spare) on matching wheels included. About 1k miles on tires. Tires and the above provide 5 inches of lift over stock.
Upgrades to electrical: Odyssey AGM battery installed with aluminum battery tray. Big three upgrade done to wiring with better grounding to handle more power. Rear cigarette lighter removed and replaced with Bluesea fused outlet, direct to battery, with 12v plug and USB ports. Rough County 5 switch panel added below the ashtray slot. Alt is new last summer, stock amperage.
Upgrades to lighting: 2002 Rodeo/Amigo headlight upgrade completed (better lights, different grille). Stock turn signal/running lights replaced with Rough Country DRL pods; three-way switch turns on DRLs or LED pods. Hood mounted ditch lights in place as well. All lights work well, and are in the pictures, both off and on. Two larger off-road floods mounted to the bumper and painted body color. Rear chase light added mounted with a KDFabworks mount.
Armor upgrades: custom front and rear bumper installed. All painted Rust Oleum Hammered Black. Front bumper includes Warn VR8s with synthetic line. LED turn signals/running lights present as well. Factor 55 fairlead mounted, along with SmittyBilt thimble. Two shackle mounts present. Below the bumper is a custom steel skid. Rear bumper includes tire carrier with 5th wheel as stated above. The swing away also includes the hi-lift jack and double Rotopax mount welded on from Rock-Hard 4x4. Rotopax mount included, but not the cans.
Body upgrades/changes: Fender flares painted Rust-Oleum hammered black. Two traction boards mounted to the rear door and easily clear the swing-away, included.
Dual tops include d. Includes a hard top (also painted Rust-Oleum Hammered Black). Sunroof works and drains work front and rear. I have never tried to hook up the defroster or third brake light in the hard top. Rear glass included, too, of course. Also includes the soft top, an Autoberry that is brand new in July 2021.
Interior was disassembled in 2020 and seats/carpet were professionally cleaned and reinstalled. Rear carpet was removed and L-track and planking installed for securing cargo.
Additional parts that will come with include used Warn locking hubs (I was going to swap to manual hubs) and a set of Indy4x brake lines I also did not get to install. Extra MUA5 tranny included as well; see below.
Demerits:
A new clutch was swapped in in July of 2021. A new transmission (out of an 89k Amigo) was swapped in.
ABS light is on.
The front sway bar was taken off. I wanted the articulation, but I will include the sway bar if you want to reinstall. Does not drive spooky without it.
Gas tank sending unit doesn"t read the level properly. I had the tank off when the bent upper links went in, but completely forgot to swap this out at the time. It"s annoying, but sending unit completely works.
Some dents and dings which make sense as it"s a 200k vehicle. The driver’s side armrest was knocked off by an errant kayak, and I’ve reattached it for a temp fix. The switches all work fine, but a new door card would be the way to go here.
Let me know what questions you all might have as needed.
