Solid body truck, originally out of Oklahoma.
It had very little cab rust when I got it. The cab corners were in great shape and are still original. I replaced the front fenders. On the rest of the exterior I cut out any rust and welded new steel in. There was no interior rust.
Prior to paint, the body panels and bed were removed. The cab remained on the frame. The frame was solid - cleaned it up with a wire wheel and painted it satin black. After the body work was done, exterior was primed, sealed, and painted with four coats of color and three coats of clear. The color is a greenish grey metallic, aside from the grill which is gunmetal grey (paint must be seen in person to truly appreciate). Primed and repainted the interior - all visible portions of interior are gunmetal grey and the floor is painted a light grey as it will be covered by floor mat, etc. Has a 230 c.i. six cylinder with a 4spd on the floor. Engine has new plugs, wires and points. Did a front brake disc conversion, including new master cylinder and front brake lines. New rear brakes, including wheel cylinders, shoes and spring kit. Four new coil over shocks, four new General Grabber tires. New front signal lights, lenses and bezels. New tail lights, lenses and bezels as well. Have the door panels, door glass, gasket kit and misc. hardware. Have the original front bumper, but it is slightly bent. No rear bumper. Engine"s a little tired, but truck runs drives and stops. Needs new wiring harness and driver"s side mirror. (Have original rear view mirror.) Seats need re-upholstery and truck needs a floor mat.
Put new white oak in the bed, has weathered a little bit, but could easily be refinished and would look great.
Overall, the truck is in excellent shape. Have clean title in hand. Wish I had time to finish this one up myself, but have too many projects and need the space. Don"t hesitate to contact me with any questions.
