This old Chevy Pickup began its life as a farm truck. Back in those days, you had to identify your truck with a company logo for hauling purposes, so this 1952 3100 was emblazed with a family farm logo until it was restored. The two-year frame off restoration was completed in 1997 and the truck has traveled less than 100 miles . . since then. Used mostly for parades and short trips around a small Missouri town, this truck has seen a life of luxury in the last 20 years. It is believed to be a 2-owner truck and believed to have the original drivetrain still in place. The 216 CD inline six-cylinder engine and 3-speed manual transmission were completely checked over, were still in very good working order and were not rebuilt at the time of the restoration simply because they didn’t need to be. They sure don’t make’em like they used to. The red, single stage, exterior paint looks great and shows that the restoration was a quality one. The interior still looks new, with little to no signs of wear. The odometer reads 95,073, the actual mileage is unknown, and there are about 100 miles on the frame off restoration.
